How to use ‘ALTHOUGH’?

 

He has good command of English. He was not able to clear the IELTS test.
(Although he has good command of English, he was not able to clear the IELTS test).

Jane is a good player. She was not selected in her college volleyball team.
(Although Jane is a good player, she was not selected in her college volleyball team).

Democracy is a good system of governing. Democratic countries also have so many problems.
(Although democracy is a good system of governing, democratic countries also have so many problems).

Technological marvels have made our life a lot easier and more comfortable. But the stress levels among people still keep rising.
(Although technological marvels have made our life a lot easier and more comfortable, the stress levels among people still keep rising.)

NB: ‘Although’ can also be replaced by ‘though’ and ‘even though’ using the same rule.
